They Say It's Your Birthday, It's My Birthday Too!
The odds are it's not your birthday, and it's definitely not mine. But the old Beatles title fits today's post pretty well, in subject anyway! As always I love to browse offering available for gold and silver as I have done since I was a youngster. I've been saving precious metals since childhood and they have served me well as a great cash reserve.

Saving precious metals is so important for everyone, not just the rich. The earthquakes in Venezuela is a good reminder that having a reserve available to use as barter is invaluable. Life is unpredictable, even in the most modern cities. You never know when disaster may strike and having something you know will always have value available is paramount to survival.
The point being, give the gift of gold and silver! At some point your recipient may depend on them for their very existence. Life is precious! If you have funds you can spare please donate to organizations that are helping in Venezuela, but be careful to give to well known charities. There are far too many scammers out there as we all know all too well.
My good friend @bulliontools helped out a good friend directly in Venezuela sending HBD. If you know and trust someone here on Hive it's a great way to help.
I've lived through many natural disasters in my life. I've been through category 4 hurricanes and even been in the eye of the storm! Something so surreal you have to experience to understand... I've survived tornadoes, I have yet to see an active volcano (but I still want too,) but earthquakes are one of the worst. Living in California I can attest to that. If you can afford to help I urge you to do so!

I can remember the earthquake that we had here in Seattle in the early 2000s I was at work and everything was swaying back-and-forth!!!😬🙄
Those strong earthquakes aren't much fun, my first big on was in Chile back in the 90's. They can be pretty scary, it's a shame Venezuela got hit so hard, but building codes likely aren't as strict as they are here in California!
Liz was saying one of the ladies of HIVE is from Venezuela, and apparently they mixed Styrofoam in with the concrete foundations to save money.....🤔🙄

We lived in Camp Pendleton during the southridge quake back in 1994. That was our intro to earthquakes. WOW! Then we moved to North Carolina and went through a few Hurricanes. All this to say, I know how it can bring things to a complete hault to an area in a country with plenty like ours. From what I understand, there are many struggling to get help there right now. Their government is failing them and criminal elements are taking advantage.
Those big quakes can be scary! Hurricanes aren't much fun either... Venezuela's infrastructure has been robbed by the communists over the last 25 years so it's no wonder there is little money to respond. The US Military is in there helping out now from what I hear!
There are rescue workers from all over the world from what I saw on the news. I think the biggest challenge now is housing for those without homes now, along with food and water. Hopefully they can ensure security of that.
It's one of the best gifts. In the next few years even 1 gram gold can go in 3 digits. The price is so high now that it's impossible to buy in big quantity, it's best to follow a systematic investment plan for gold
1 gram of gold and smaller micro-gold are really the only affordable ways to invest now. I remember back in the late 1990's picking up one ounce of gold for $700, wow how times have changed! The nice part about fractional gold is it's also easier to sell or trade should the need ever arise. Definitely one of the best gifts you can give out, I agree with you 100%!
