That sounds really frustrating! You did a great job standing up for your mom, that's what I would have done if I was in your shoes also. Thank you friend! You said it all, it's really sad to see people trying to take advantage of other people, especially when they are elderly.
But I hope that one day this can reduce these cases around the world. These people cannot prevail over us.
