You will have to join the City of Neoxian Discord and make sure you can see the general voice channel. If you are new to the City you should also check the rules in the getting-started channel.
This is a course for absolute beginners, if you are already rather fluent in German and know a lot about German culture, I am afraid this course is not for you.
You should also have a good grasp of the English language, the course will be held in English and it might be rough to learn German in English if you dont speak fluent English.
Saturday 27.06. 5 pm CET, dont forget to check what time that is in your time zone
Music makes the people come together so I prepared a list of popular German songs and I will ask my German readers to suggest more in the German part of this post.
If you want to participate, please go through the songs beforehand and select one you like so we can translate it together in my course.
Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann - Nena
Alles nur geklaut - die Prinzen
Ein Kompliment - Sportfreunde Stiller
Hammerhart - absolute Beginner
All for one - Azad and King Kool Savas

Hello, Been long you posted Sir. Hope all is well?
All good, thanks for asking. But today won't be any German class
I guess it cant hurt if we go over the greetings nd farewells first, to do some dry stuff and so that everybody can at least greet someone on German:
Motivation and a few basics
Pronounciation is very hard but very important. It does not matter how many words you know, if you slaughter the language. Most Germans will prefer to talk to you in English if you cant pronounce German properly.
Greetings
Informal
Hi, Hallo, Was geht?
Hi, Hello, What's up?
Formal
Guten Tag, Guten Abend, Guten Morgen
Good day, good evening, good morning
Universal
Moin
Nothern German dialect for "good morning", but it can be used all day long
Farewell
Informal
tschö (mit ö), mach's gut, hauste rein
Goodbye, (I hope you) do well, give me five (literally, but not actually)
Formal
Ich wünsche noch einen schönen Tag, Auf Wiedersehen
I wish you a beatiful day, Goodbye (literally: I hope we meet again)
Universal
tschau/ciao
Goodbye
