GOWLOO (a fat kid) "New Card Idea" for Splinterlands Game

Hi there lovely and creative people of Hive World,
Hope you all are fine and having a fine day

Here I am with new card Idea for Splinterlands game. Its not pure masterpiece from an artist but a casual piece from average player of Adobe Illustrator (ME 😅)

I think to go for tree character and I tried...

Character and Name Idea :

It is young and powerful tree character so it belongs to EARTH element.
I named it GOWLOO. The name idea is simple, the real word is GOLOO (in Urdu Language) In old days, mostly the fat kid of the house named Goloo. Everyone call him/her with this name, so I just add "W" to give it little change but the meaning remains same for this character 😁😁

When I put this above image, It looks like JIYAN of DOREMON cartoon 😂😂 but it wasn't in my mind the whole time I was working on it 😅😅

Software I used :

Adobe Illustrator 2019

Working Steps :

As I have little idea about to go with Tree Character. I start with its face shape. I used Pen Tool for Face shape, illustrate one eye and mirror it for the second.
I complete its face with EXTRA mouth/teeth pose but I remove it at the end.
Fill colors on it and put green its eye brows to show leaf (type) in it.
And using a Pen Tool I illustrate its FAT Body 😄

Draw one leg and mirror it for the other one.
And than draw its powerful muscles (arms)
I first think to give same green color for its dress but than I choose this...

I draw its upper cloths (to hide arm connection 🤓) and for foot nails I pick green color (same to show leaf type)
Reduce the whole character size to put it on the board.

For background, simple choose the sky and ground colors and add its NAME to it 😁😁

That's all my working steps to complete this character.
I tried for the powerful and dangerous Tree character and ended with this cute one 😅😅

I participated so many times to this contest. And its always a fun while working on it. I mostly go with game cards but this time after (years) I tried again for new character.
