In my younger years, I'm very thrilled with wonderful acts. Such fascinating actions seems dumb and crazy to some people, but to me, it's a simple act of hero. Actions like jumping from high elevated platform, climbing tree and reckless running were some of the hallmarks of young people. I was their leader and bonafide member of the think tank of my peer that formulates and make the laws that guides various weird games, we enjoyed.
Researchers attributed improved cognitive, mental and behavioral development from the infants to checked and guided exercises and games. But what if the games are crazy and weirdo? Truly, it will influence the growth and development of the children positively. Also, since children does not have a lot in their to-do list, they have ample time to play along and perform crazy things. Let me share one of crazy and weirdo things, effects and their experiences of mine.
At about twelve years old, when I was still in primary school. My mother demands that we should come to the market and accompany her in the trade but we have another plans after school hours. Having dropped our bags and ate our lunch, we congregate with our friends and peers in our neighborhood under the mango tree in our streets. Then, games will start at its peak.
One of those days, we decided to climb the avocado pear in our neighborhood. Failure to climb and run along it's branches is a sign of weakness and nobody was to be seem as weak and will be abused by others. Immediately, we climbed this ill-fated tree. Over thirteen of us were shouting and jump on this tree, everyone tried to reach the peak because it's a point of honor and superiority. Being a skilled climber, I'm there at the peak. Everyone celebrates me and I was their super hero to reach that tender branches. Immediately, I lifted my hands up and jumped like others, then the branch break down and I landed forcefully with my neck. The pain sustained was huge as this dislocation was fatal. I cried profusely till my mother came back from market.
However, she did not beat it up but knows that I will be punished more in the hands of local orthopedic doctor. We were directed to one old woman and she swings into action . My neck becomes her drawboard. After applying some oil on the affected region, she started massaging and strengthen it . As she nursed me to life while my tears can filled a water can because of the pain. I really passed a lot from her various forms of treatment. I immediately swear that I will never engaged in senseless and crazy games again.
One of the Bible proverbs rightly that foolishness is tied to the heart of the children. many times, these foolishness can be detrimental and harmful. As this true life experience indicated, it can result to bodily injuries which will have a lasting scar on the victim. I really suffered a lot of such wounds from that crazy acts.

Thanks for the prompt response.
Peer pressure amongst teenager is inevitable. In addition, the excitement and attention for getting to the top of the tree made it tempting to show off. Unfortunately for you this time you fell - it is good that you could be nursed back to health after your fall.
