During my secondary days as a teenager, my school was very far from my house; it was about 10 kilometers away, if not more, and for that reason, I was often given transport fare to get to school and return back home after the school routine. For the first few weeks in that school, I was a good boy who adapted to that by boarding a bus, getting to school, facing my studies, and returning home on time; however, that changed after I made some friends who lived along my route to school, so rather than boarding a bus, I started walking down to their house in the morning so we could go together.

My teenage age was actually full of drama because I went to a boarding school. From my junior secondary school class till I graduated from secondary school, I was in the boarding house all through. My boarding school was a private boarding school and was very strict. We didn’t have the liberty to unleash our teenage misbehaviors hence any available opportunity to misbehave is not taken for granted.

When we are in our teenage years, we tend to be reckless, fearless, and we don’t think much about our actions. It’s a time when if something makes us happy, we’ll do it, even if it’s scary.
In the things we do, our peers have a strong influence on us. That’s because for most teenagers, their strongest bond is with their friends.That’s why, most of the time, whatever our friends do, we also end up doing.

On this particular day, I was home alone and bored. She had already left for a hospital checkup, and I knew it would probably take the whole day. So what do they always say? "When the cat's away... the mice will play!" I decided I was going to have all the fun until she came back. Starting with visiting my friend who was just 10 minutes away from our house then.
