Amanda had woken up a few minutes before 5 a.m. with a sharp pain in her head, and while that still lingered, her thigh felt strange and heavy. She could hardly lift her legs; obviously, something isn't right. She glanced around the room she was in and it all seemed strange; neither could she recollect how she got there. She was already panicking, thinking she might have been kidnapped, but the ray of sunshine that flooded the room at that instant drew her back to reality because it revealed the figure of a man that looked so familiar, and immediately the memories of the previous day began to flood her head.

But it's clear as day that the final moment together already came
My blood boils every time I'm reminded that it was nothing but a game

As the sun rose over the horizon, it became clear what had happened. Oma's emotions spiraled in a tumultuous storm of betrayal and resentment as she thought about the new revelation. "Damn it!" She cussed. She threw the half-filled glass of water across the room and watched in dismay as the glasses shattered and the content found an escape.

As the sun rose over the horizon, it became clear what had happened. The night seemed endless. Locked in the basement, I watched the asynchronous and intermittent flashes that preceded the rumblings mixed with loud thunder. Screams of terror from people I surely knew called for help, and I paralyzed with fear, debated between opening the door or staying cowering between my legs in the hope of not being found.
