SPENDING MY DAY AT THE MARKET

Happy weekend to you all, today I would love to share how my weekend is going, I woke up and did the house chores then my sister informed me that we would be going to the market.

This is our first restocking this year, we got a lot of items during the Christmas season and it lasted well, but now it has finished and we need to restock the house.

Going to the market is not child's play, it is one of the things I do not like to do, walking up and down and pricing items irritates me the more, following my sister to the market can be so exhausting because she will make sure she gets everything on her list.

My sister can beat down the price like no other, she will always tell me that I do not know how to price and she will never allow me to visit the market alone, I do call her a stingy woman because of her way of getting things at the market.

This market is one of the cheapest markets in the city of Abuja, things are somehow cheap here compared to other markets, these markets are mainly for foodstuffs though we have other things like clothes and shoes but food items are more cheaper here.

We started by getting someone who would assist us in packing the loads, I knew I would be spending my day in the market, we got many things like yam, plantain which is one of my favorites, meat, tomatoes, pepper, and vegetables, this is all we got from the market but we spent more than six hours in the market, my sister kept pricing from one place to another, at some point I was angry but she never looked at my side she makes sure she bought everything on her list.

This is what we got for more than six hours, I thought the car would be full and hired another car to follow us as a convoy, just kidding

At this point, I am so tired after spending my day at the market.
