Children's Day 3D Experience.

Welcome to my blog today.

It was this years children's day. The day was on a working day but it was declared a holiday for all school children. Initially, I was supposed to go to school on that day because my name was on WAEC invigilation roaster but I called a friend and colleague who lived close to the school to please stand in for me.

I felt weak and needed to rest and I thought of sleeping through out the day. I returned to bed after observing morning prayers with my family, shortly after, my youngest son came to call me that breakfast was served. I told him to join his siblings at the table as I needed to brush my teeth first.

As I was getting ready for breakfast, I hard my phone ringing from the bed stand. I promised not to rush myself as I can always return the call later. After brushing my teeth, I forgot about the call and went straight to join my boys at the table.

Few minutes later, the phone started to ring again. I had to beg my oldest son to help me get it. On taking the phone he realised that the caller was my god mother whom my children calls big mummy that was calling so he picked the call at once.

She took her time to talk to the my children one after the other in their order of birth. She prayed for them and gave them words of encouragement appropriate for their age and class. On getting to my youngest boy's turn, big mummy did not forget to ask him what he wanted for children's day.

He said he wanted ice cream, chocolate, pizza and fine busiucts. Big mummy said it was ok and asked them to extend her regards to their mother (me) without saying hi and hanged up. I became really angry that why will she hang up without checking up on me.

Few minutes after the call, I hard the massage tune of my phone and on opening the massage,I saw that it was an alert. I got an alert of eighty thousand naira from big mummy. What could she want me to do or buy for her? Let this woman not send me to somewhere far today oh were the thought on my mind when I saw her call.

On picking the call, I greeted her and told her about the alert I got from her end as if she doesn't know. Then she said oh yea that I want you to take the children out and buy whatever they want for them and I think thirty thousand should be enough for that, just manage them in a way that each person will not buy something worth more than ten thousand each. I said ok ma to her then she continued and the balance of fifty thousand,use it for yourself.

I was quite for few seconds before showing appreciation to her and ended the call. That was how tiredness vanished from my body. I instantly became energetic and started vibing to the song that was being placed on the MP3 radio. Funny how the mood in the house changed after that call.

After breakfast, we cleaned the house and got ready to got to the mall. We bought what everybody wanted, took some photos and also, i used the opportunity to try out the 3D game my eldest son had been telling me about for some time now. I enjoyed it though but not without its fear. At a point during the game it was as if I was walking on the cloud or the Burj khalifa of Dubai but my fear of height will not make me move, at some point in the game, I was being chased by an animal I can't discribe.

It got to a point I had to swim in the game. The fifteen minutes I spent playing that game was one I am not planning to forget anything soon. I payed for thirty minutes but ended up using twelve to fifteen minutes while I left the other fifteen minutes for my oldest son who recommended the game in the first place. He played the game so well.

I got a pack of chocolate for my colleague who worked on my behalf because I planned on telling her how I ended up spending the day before we headed back home around four in the evening.I had an enjoyable day on children's day because of the unexpected children's day alert I got from my god mother.
