Next thing, my ear got blocked, and I couldn’t hear properly. The following day, I started feeling pain in my right ear, so I went to the pharmacy.

I was given an ear drop, and thankfully, it solved that problem.

But my left ear was still blocked. I couldn’t hear well with it.

When I went back, the pharmacist told me the Otodem ear drop only works for infections and can’t soften wax or unblock the ear. She recommended another ear drop called Cerumol.

I asked for the price… she said ₦10,000.

Omo. I paused.

I didn’t buy it because that money felt too much, and I wanted to be sure there wasn’t another solution. I checked TikTok and even saw some bad reviews, which made me hesitate even more.

And guess what?

He gave me a solution that cost just ₦300 instead of ₦10,000.
He told me to get hydrogen peroxide. Said it works similarly to Cerumol.

I used it for 3 days, the wax softened, and I flushed it out with a syringe and water.

Problem solved.

Imagine if I didn’t know him or didn’t share my problem… I might have spent ₦10k on something that might not even satisfy me.
