Hello Splinter nerds
I have finally been able to max all the common, rare, and epic rebellion reward cards on emp-warden, it is just the legendary left and I am close with those ones as I have gotten 6/12 maxed and most are in level 3. I believe I should get all maxed within 3 seasons.
I had Gallicus at level 3 for a very long time and I lost some battles because I did not have it maxed, it has 1 more additional ability at a maxed level which is very good in a ruleset that deals with using only range monsters, will discuss the ability below... So I finally got it maxed recently and it has been giving me joy by making me victorious in battles.
It has 4 unique abilities, the first is the Taunt ability which makes it the target and draws all the opponent attacks on it but it doesn't have an effect on some monsters on the opponent's team with certain abilities.... The second ability is Shield which makes it harder for melee and range monsters to defeat it as their damages are reduced by 50%, the third ability is Strengthen which adds +1 health to all monsters in his team and lastly is the Headwinds which reduce range power by -1.
These two rulesets above are my favorites when it comes to using Gallicus and they help him to unleash his full potential in battles, the first rule was going the distance which indicates only range monsters can be used in the battle, the second rule was little league which means only monsters with 4 mana or less can be used in battle.
The combo of Ilthain[life summoner] with the fire return
ability plus Gallicus increases my chances of winning such battles, I had a battle with the rule set above, and below is what I and the opponent came up with.
Both of us used the Ilthain summoner which was expected cos of the rule of the battle, our line up was similar as both of us used Gallicus but unfortunately for him, his Gallicus was not maxed and still in level 2, so two abilities were missing which led to the quick elimination of his Gallicus and left his team vulnerable to my attacks.
The two monsters I circled out in the opponent team could not cause any damage to my Gallicus because their range power has been reduced to 1 and Gallicus has a shield which makes it impossible for them to inflict any damage on him and that further increases my chances of winning...
It was easy peasy for me to eliminate his team after he lost his unmax Gallicus, I have faced something like this in the past too when mine was not maxed and this is one of the advantages of having a max card.
