Don't Promise Forever If You are Just Passing Time
I watched a video on TikTok yesterday, and I felt bad for the victims.
It was a case of a lady who went to disorganize her ex-party, but she and her friends were beaten black and blue by the people in the party, no idea if those who beat them were the groom's friend, the bride's friend, or people who just attended the party to eat and celebrate with them.

In the video I watched, one of the ladies was kicked severely by angry men, and some even threw bottles at her. She was lucky to survive the beating because some didn't even experience what she did before they gave up the ghost.
The back story was that the groom dated the lady for 9 years but jilted her to marry someone else, the lady was heartbroken and decided to ruin his wedding day, but it ended up backfiring, i don't think they expected to be beaten that way and if they had think about it, maybe they would have think twice before making such a move.
Is it the man who wasted the lady's time for 9 good years and ended up getting married to someone else without thinking about the damage he had caused to the one he left, the time wasted, the effort and sacrifice she had made in the relationship...

Is it the lady we should blame for trying to ruin a good day without thinking about the other bride who had nothing to do with the betrayal, and maybe she had bad character that made the man decide to marry someone else...
We can only guess; only the two of them know what transpired between them and why it ended in a breakup, so I am not here to judge any of them.
People should stop wasting others' time when two people are in a relationship, they both know after sometime together if their partner is someone they can spend the rest of their life with or just someone they can tolerate for a short time, unfortunately after many people discover this, they still play along and keep deceiving their partner into thinking they love and want them while they are using them to pass time.
Both genders do this, a lady can date a man for many years and end up marrying a rich man or someone she likes that proposes to her within a few weeks, and a man can also do the same thing, this is not right, we should learn to care about others' feelings and not play with their heart... Lastly, not everyone has a forgiving spirit, so because others did it and go scotfree doesn't mean you will be lucky during your time... tread carefully.

Yes. Bro. That is very well said. It is very bad for a person to play with another person’s feelings. Just as it took place in the situation. But what stop the man from telling the lady on time, that the relationship was not going to work out. And they were not going to end up together. It would not have taken her unaware.
It is better to let that person knows his/her stand, and not believing on something that is not going to work.
Unfortunately that is very common nowadays, people toying with their partners heart knowing they are going to dump them later….
This really hits hard. It’s so important to be honest with someone if you know the relationship isn’t going anywhere. Wasting years of someone’s life isn’t fair at all.

It's very tempting to take a side when both parties could be at fault at the same time. The new bride is whom I feel a bit sorry for, she probably didn't know what transpired between the ex and the groom before she entered the picture.
plot twist, she could be the main villain, like maybe the ex-best friend who seduced the guy into marrying her after rubbishing her best friend, just thinking out loud, don't mind me lol
Oh yes, I think that's a likely possibility lol. People, especially of the younger generations do employ "mad" strategies nowadays, mostly indirect and very subtle :)
