Craniax the Quick Ends the Resurrection strategies in Splinterlands

The conclave Arcana set comes with new abilities, which make the game more interesting, and it takes time to discover and understand some of the abilities.

I had one battle and my monster with rebirth and bloodline tribute didn't resurrect or boost the stats of its comrade after it died, I rewatched the battle to confirm if I saw things right, and it was still the same, but I could not figure out what caused it so I assumed it was a bug, but the same thing repeat itself again.

So I studied the opponent lineup again, and then I saw this ability called Final rest

This is the final rest logo, and players who play the modern format must have come across it.

One thing about this ability is that it doesn't only affect the opponent, it also affects the player that used it, so the best case is not to use monsters that will be affected by it when playing, abilities like rebirth, resurrect, and resurgence, bloodline tribute are affected by this ability because they are abilities that are triggered after the death of a monster, there are other abilities I think would be affected too but I am yet to confirm it in battles hence why I can't add them to the list above but here they are: Martyr and poison burst but until I confirm these two in a battle to be sure.

The only monster I have seen so far with the final rest ability[there may be more] is Craniax the quick and he has it at level 1! The card is expensive as it is selling for 77 dollars per BCX in the market, its other abilities are awesome too, so a max is ideal, but lower levels ain't bad either.

It was fun using the Reckless ability to boost the stat of Shadowfey Sheik, the reckless that players avoid because of how it takes life from monsters adjacent to the one that possesses the ability, is now seen as a blessing to monsters with the painforge ability.

Ride with me as I show you an epic battle I won using the Final Rest ability and how it hinders the opponent from being victorious.

It was a 3 combo ruleset, the first rule indicates all monsters have thorns, the second rule indicates all monsters have rebirth ability which means they will be born again when they die once and the Final rest ability cancelled this rule because it made resurrecting or born again impossible for all the monsters, the last rule was all monsters have blast which made me to be able to predict what the opponent could likely use.

The best summoner to counter the blast and thorn rules is Bella Ratajowlski, a life summoner with reflection shield, so I expected the lineup from the opponent while I counter it with the death splinter using the great Lorkus summoner to summon some vicious death splinter monsters.

Placing Heloise the Hollow as a tank was my first step to achieving victory; her soul siphon ability was not affected by Final rest, so it resurrected many times until there was no more soul for her to siphon. She reduced most of the opponent monsters' health to 1 before Kelan Gaines finally put them to rest.

Without the help of Deep Delver, which protects Kelan Gaines from the blast with his Deflection Shroud, my team would be vulnerable making it easier for the opponent to penetrate and claim victory but it was not the case as Deep Delver solidly protect the two monsters adjacent to it with a deflect shield.

All the monsters in my team played their part for me to be able to win, but the main thing was the Final rest, which made all the opponent monsters miss out on being born again to wreak havoc on my team.
