Hello Splinter nerds
We are at that time in Splinterlands when players get airdropped cards based on the points they accumulate by staking their modern cards and packs in Wagon...
It is not the staking of cards or the wagon that excites me, it is the amazing cards that will be airdropped and their stats that I anticipate.
The first airdrop card has been revealed, and its name is Zyrx the Emberglace
It is a Dragon legendary monster with 5 abilities, 4/5 of the abilities are awesome, while one of them is a debuff, but it is understandable cos without that ability, it can be overpowered, and players start spamming it in battles...
All modern players are familiar with the 4 amazing abilities [ flying, charge, execute, and bloodlust] and the debuff, which is [Incendiary]. I am already getting used to the debuff stats too, and as long as only one debuff monster is in the team, it is still good and not much damage will be done as long as one is also certain the game play won't prolong until the debuff spreads to all the units on the team.
To get the chance to get this airdrop card, as long as you have modern assets[ rebellion/conclave arcana cards and packs], head over to the conflict section on the Splinterlands page and enter as seen in the screenshot above, the earlier you enter the conflict and fill your wagons with your assets the better because it only last for 30 days and 5 days is gone already.
There were not enough wagons on the emp-warden accounts for all the conclave arcana, including some rebellion cards, so I had to visit the market to buy 12 more wagon kits, which cost around 6649 dec per wagon kit.
I used the Auto fill button to fill my cards in the wagon, and it is the fastest way to get them filled, and the best part is it first fills in your highest contributing cards, and hence why the black foil legendary was the first card to be filled in Emp-Warden.
There is a big difference in the points accumulated by the first wagon compared to the other 3 shown in the screenshot. This is because the first wagon contains 1 legendary black foil, 3 epic black foils, and 1 rare black foil. black foils are really on a different level from all other foils because common and rare black foils generate more points than legendary gold foil cards...
At the end of the Zyrx, emp-warden will get a total of 22 cards, which is more than enough for a max. Unfortunately, we will only be getting one gold foil, so we would try our luck on the black foil edition and use midnight potion, may luck be on our side.
There is a new update to the Wagons. For every airdrop card received, one wagon will be damaged, and one needs to repair the wagon to be able to use it again. Many players are not pleased with this update; some think it makes them spend more on the airdrop card, while others think it is an additional work, but I get the logic behind Splinterlands doing that. They want more use cases for land, and that is one of their ways to make that happen.
In 25 days, I will give an update of the airdrop I got in emp-warden, and if I got lucky enough to hit a black foil Zyrx the Emberglace
cos that will be so nice!.
