WEIRD NAMES IN CRYPTO

The day wonders end in the world, that day I cease to exist. I think one of the most beautiful things about the world today is not only the diversity, but also the very weird and funniness of it all. One of the marketing strategies we see today is the opposite of what it should be and surprisingly, it sells!

I am sure many of you know or have come across some of the weirdest crypto names. I did too and they are excessively funny not to share. I even went on to look at these shit coins and what do you know, maybe their names alone are the strategy. These are the funniest I have come across so far.

Cum Rocket

My first thought was, “what?” and then I had to go check it out. It has a market cap of about $5.1 million and I wonder if this is only because of the name. Whether we like it or not, we are humans and fascinated by the unseemly. I do wonder how they go about promoting this coin though. Through adult memes or what? Maybe some very wonderful campaign with someone doing the honors of… cough cough.

Ass Coin

Where are the ass men? Maybe show your dedication for nice bums by buying some of these. The world of Ass will thank you.

Seriously though, how do they come up with these names and what is the logic behind it? How am I, as an investor, supposed to take you seriously? What use is your Ass to me when there is no profit in the game…or maybe there was? It has a market cap of $7.89 million the last I checked and is based on a proof-of-stake algorithm.

I do wonder where heads are at though, but I am not surprised as the main goal now is to make money off the introduction of shit coins and then abandon it.

FUD Coin

We all know that FUD is one of the most popular terms in the crypto world and it stands for “Fear Uncertainty Doubt”. I find it amazing that such a coin was even introduced in the first place with such a weird message. I do not know if it is now the norm to use reverse psychology because it seems to be working or maybe shit coins just do well in the first few months and then the dump happens followed by the annihilation. While it is fun to turn somethings into cruise, it is practically unethical and unprofessional in the world of business. I will not be buying such a coin even if I had more money than I know what to do with.

Useless Ethereum Token

If the name is not enough, the logo is a big warning sign. It is a hand flipping you the bird with a message that says there is no profit. You give them your money with no idea what it would be used for. It is just like funding a proposal on Hive with no accountability.

Doge Gay Son

I laughed so hard when I read the campaign of this coin. First it was inclusivity, which they have a lot of now but it is clearly not enough. I do wonder though, is this just about inclusivity? A thought struck me as to how many things are just propped up for the sake of it and used, then dumped because no one actually cares. Not my place to say anything though. You have your gay coin so use it.
