The art

In this edition of the series I share a cool Pythagorean cup, also know as a greedy cup, the idea here is that if you get too greedy and try to fill the entire cup up it will siphon out all the liquid out leaving your greedy ass with nothing but a mess, if you don't pour in too much the greedy cup spares you and works like a normal cup.

I found and printed 2 version one has a bulb in the middle and the other has the siphoning mechanism build into the wall.

I featured some gifs to show you guys how it works.
As you can see bellow if you don't over fill the cup it works like a normal cup

But greedy and overfill and the whole thing will pour out the bottom.

The print

It was a bit of a struggle I had some issues with my machines and some of the prints did not come out great then I got some to print fine but I was not a fan of how slow they would drain, I printed a bigger variant and it did better.

I even tried with my resin printers and it came out looking cool but the siphon mechanism did not print well defeating the whole purpose of the cup, I thought it would look neat printing it clear but resin may not be the way.
