My favorite dApp: Ecency
Talking about my favorite decentralized App, I canāt mention any other than Ecency. Probably because itās the only front end Iāve used since I joined hive. But it hasnāt also given me any reason to go find another.
I canāt still remember the day I downloaded it, I felt so relieved since I had been using only hive blog for everything.
But why Ecency?
Personally, I do not like browsing on the web. With everything I do, I always to prefer to have an app version of it. I canāt explain but it just feels better that way.
The interface generally look very appealing to me.
Everything you need is just a tap away. I like the fact that it easily allows to yo switch between your posts and wallet without redirecting you to another link. (throwing a little shade on hive blogš)
Ecency rewards you for your engagement on the platform by giving you points that can be used to boost your post . These rewards serve as a source of motivation to do more.
It also has this leaderboard to help you see how much of engagement you are doing and who is doing less or more than you.
I sometimes use it as a form of motivation. I just keep engaging to see my rank increase then I feel Iāve done good engagement for the day.
Another favorite thing is that you are able to schedule your posts.
Sometimes you might do it making a post at a time which you feel wouldnāt be best to put it out. So you can quickly schedule it, put your phone away and engage yourself in whatever knowing very well it will be posted without any extra effort and at the time you want.
One other things is the notifications letting you know when your favorite author has posted new content. I was always worried about missing out on what certain people post and I had to constantly go to their pages to see if thereās any updates but after adding them to my favorites, I get a notification anytime they post.
I can go on about ecencyās features but I believe this is convincing enough.

Sure. Just that sometimes you boost and it doesnāt go through
Ecency is definitely dopeš but I donāt think itās excellent yet, the app quenches randomly, especially when you are seriously engaged with a task, that thing is very annoying.

After the new update, I started noticing it again today
The Ecency dApp is my best too,
Maybe it's because I got fond of it from my first step to the Hive blockchain.
Although, it's the web version I'm using because my phone is always crying for low storage
I sometimes use the web version when my post is very long
