Getting me a gift?

I was going to say that I’ve never written a wishlist. But then I realized I have. I wrote it not because I was hoping that anyone would get these things for me. I know it’s quite common that when you don’t have money, you think of all the things that you want/need but when the money comes, you forget all about them and just spend it. That was the reason I wrote the list, to remind me of the things I want to bug when I get the money. I haven’t received much gifts in my life and so it’s not hard to think about the best thing I’ve received.

I remember on one of my birthdays when I was in primary school, a lot of my classmates wrote little notes to me and I was so happy. It really felt so good that all these people had these good things to say. And we were so young then, so you can at least expect that those messages were genuine. Even in senior high school, I did receive some of those notes and it meant everything. It’s either these letters or some snacks.

But last year on my birthday, I got this gift from my baby that was very different. It still included an essay though and some snacks, but it had these slippers that I had been talking about. I was actually just running it by him to see what he thinks before I get it, I ended up not buying it for some reason I can’t remember and there it was. It felt so good cause like finally, someone was listening to me. I always think that no one really knows me that well to know what I want, aside always saying that I want money and food. So this one really stood out for me.

I wouldn’t be totally honest if I don’t talk about my birthday in 2022. That particular day, I felt like a billionaire and this is why:

Aside these, I still had my mom, other siblings and friends send me money. I actually spent all that money in less than a week but during that short period of time, I felt so independent. To want something and be able to afford it on your own is unmatched pleasure.

The Val’s day is gone I know, but we are still in the month of love right? So just like I always say, you can send me money or get me a lot of food. But my recent obsession has been with cars. I started paying attention to cars when I did my internship at the driver and vehicle licensing authority. And because of the constant use of public transport, I notice so many different brands and models of cars daily. I do have a list though. But even before I knew about all these cars, there was one that I always wanted even when I didn’t know its name. So if you are getting me a gift, it’s should be a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon please😌.
