My Experience as A Mentee

I have honestly wanted an Opportunity where I would explore my abilities and learn from Powerful and Mighty Men of Valor who would have you in their Interests.

Though It is True we are birthed with different abilities and these abilities are unique to us in one way or the other. And some of these unique qualities elevates us amongst our Peers.

Well well you know these qualities we have sometimes may not be as furnished as it we would expect them to be and here's me wanting someone who's greater in my Field of Expertise help me harness the best out of myself.

Growing up I have always been inspired by Wonderful role models in Public Speaking and how they speak so well that they do it effortlessly as if it's no man's business at all. And this desire of always wanting to be a Good and wonderful Public Speaker grew stronger and better. It was 2019 when I went for a Teaching Practice in Abuja when I met with This Powerful Speaker Mins. Mike Idam at a Men's Conference.

Mehnn this Man is so Good at what he does and this quality was only radiating from years of Experience and good storage of Knowledge and you could see how he Made his speech so plain and direct without bias. Even while speaking in a Panel setting you could see how he draws lots of attention to himself reason of how he communicates his messages and he does it so well...

After the Very Program that day I and my Colleague in School was moved to go approach him and see if possibly we could have an opportunity have just a pics with Him. But then from Having a Pics we ending up having a Wonderful relationship together that led to me visiting him in 2021 but this was at His Residence.

This visit was geared to enhance myself and learn more through his mentorship and guidance. I stayed with him for over a Month and this journey was a tour after tour where I got to know what it takes on becoming a Public Speaker. In this Journey I got to realize so well that great men do not make it well out for Life by just doing little things; their schedules are always rolling on classes to take or books to read or rather books write but know that you never find them out without busy doing anything at all.

And I have realized that through much reading the House is filled with Knowledge and only through a bulk of Knowledge you could enhance your Life and also that of others. Although many times we try to wave through this aspect of reading and then we think we know better but this cannot be hidden more soo. Because it's obvious that you definitely cannot give what you don't have. Only when you read you can speak well.

While my stay only gets interesting so far I realize that every Person who speaks so well is not just a Speaker but also a deep thinker. Many think is just by having the Knowledge and that's all that makes the difference but certainly Not. Because you might pour out a setting information and then still not regarded as though one who said anything at all. But then apply deep thinking this gives you the Knowledge of Knowing when to speak and how when not to Speak so as to get your message home well understood by your Audience and taken home. It is one thing to speak it's also another for your message to be well understood by your Listeners.

Lastly I also got to know that If you're a Speaker whose Image/Reputation is not upright, that no matter the bulk of information you put out there you will still be taken for a Joke. Your message only goes down well with people when they see the practical applications in your Life and the life of others you've affected Positively and not Negatively.

Public Speaking is just a Good way to start your career and knowing what you do soo well could only enhance your Expertise in Talking about it to People who value and cherish that Knowledge.
