The weather conditions used to be quite easy to predict. Back in the day, once we were at this time of the year, with Christmas being weeks away, harmattan would be devouring people's skin. I know I usually wear thick clothes plus socks and a head warmer during such seasons.
Well, a lot has really changed since "back in the day". The weather condition keeps getting weird and unpredictable. It's so weird to the point where it even rained this week in Lagos. Everything about Nigerian Rainfall usually ends around September.
The closest explanation about what's happening with this whole unpredictable weather condition is the one we get from the environmentalists. They believe that this climate change is caused by a long list of human activities.
Well, we may well be damned if they are correct. For now, we are alive and we've got to figure out ways to balance whatever the climate is throwing on our path.
1. Rainfall lasted longer than usual.
Yeah! It started raining very early this year. This year as a whole has been quite rainy. However, rainfall seems to be finally bidding farewell. Due to that, water scarcity is now knocking down our doors. For example, the well in my compound is drying up already.
2. Hot season is back instead of the usual harmattan.
Nigeria is fundamentally a hot country. The hotness of the sun hits us quite hard, and even if it rains for the most part of the day, we still end up feeling the heat for what's left of the day. That's how it has been for as long as I can remember.
Any serious attempt to predict the current weather condition takes as much time as a full-time job. So, I don't even try. I just make sure I'm ready for whatever nature throws on my path.
As it seems like we are finally getting into a dry season, one of the things I do at this time is to make sure I always have water in my drum and other water containers. I try to refill them daily even when it seems like a waste of time.
As for the hot weather, my fan is always available to cool the air. I know that electricity supply is a big issue in my part of the world. Thankfully, my Solar inverter is doing a very good job. Additionally, I make sure I always have cold water in my freezer.
That's it, folks.
Regardless of what's going on with the weather, I know there will always be a way out.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

Honestly everything has changed. We hope for things to normalize.
Yes oooo. The weather condition right now is generally unpredictable.
We take whatever we wake up to and adapt to it.
Honestly the weather condition is actually looking good
