Love Without Noise

Even though they say true love is very hard to find these days, and yet, there is still real love. I'm not talking about the showoff type some people post on their socials. I am saying those types of love that looks small, yet big. Love even when everything seems hard, you still find a course to stay.

I will define love as something that is selfless, not selfish, caring, committed, and deciding to look after someone even though I have myself to take care of. Deciding to check the well being of my lover if the person is doing okay, has eaten, and is healthy because those little things matters.

Well, I hear some people say that love is personal. I will not argue because it is the truth. But again, love should not be shaky, love should be selfless, not greedy. Love should be loyal, and it should not go missing when things aren't going as expected because, from the look of things, this new age love seems not to be constant.

A love that is not conditioned or subjected to any terms looks so very, very sweet, and at the same time, it can look so complicated when romance is involved because when we do not put boundaries on something, the end result might not be favorable. Like they always say that love is blind, no love is not in any way. We say that if only we want to look away from the mistakes and flaws. But what love is that? It is gentle, it is correct, it doesn't hurt, it lets go of things, and it voices out when some things seems not to be working out.

And yes, I have been in love before, a deep one for that matter. I will not say it went smoothly because there were times things were looking sideways, but yet it was real love, and everything felt easy and comfortable. No pressure, we felt seen and we survived each day.

What I usually tell myself always is that love should not be one side, it should not be forced or joked with. Because if it is like that, it will not last long, and before you know it, it will fall out. But when two people decide to choose one another daily irrespective of their background and beliefs, they are choosing to learn and give it a try every day without giving up. For me, that is love.

For those who always say that love is not real, that is not true because there is still true love even though everything is messed up. Those who understand what I am saying knows that love will not be perfect, there will be flaws, loss, rough roads. But love will keep on going when there is understanding, hope, care, and the desire to remain honest and loyal to one another.

And also, the type of love I always encourage should not be biased on temporary feelings that are now the real deal nowadays. Love should be based on all sincerity, commitment, patience, forgiveness, and endurance, not on fantasy.
