Traditional Marriage/Wedding is a culture in our different villages,so the way we are going it differ from others, like White Wedding, is a borow culture to my region, but the real marriage is the Traditional Marriage which also differ from different cultures, the way they do it.
Like in my place, traditional marriage normally done in the evening but the activities can start in the morning, most people do their own now best on their family and village setting.

This activity has it economic effect in today's world as things are costly and a lost are demand from groom Some of this effect, keep some young people in married even when they are of age

In Nigeria,we have different cultures and their way of getting married are not the same, The Hausa tribe, Yoruba tribe,Igbo tribes,Efiks ,Ibibio tribes. I will be sharing this particular experience of the Ibibio speaking tribe, the marriage is done differently from other Sister's languages speaking. Below is the very one I attended which was my friend own

In the morning was a nice moment as the traditional marriage of this my very best friend of my childhood took place in her place and I was there to share with her. People came from different places. Friends from school and place of work. The traditional marriage was in th morning, because they were joining both with wedding that took place in the afternoon. So they wanted to fulfill all the martial rides to the family of the bride, community and church to witness the transition,so that the white wedding will took place according to church doctrine. It was a nice event as I was the camera man that covers the event. So after that event in the morning by 11 :43am,the traditional marriage was through and people were about going to the church for wedding ceremony, which was still in the same community .

In the afternoon, the people movie to the church and seated waiting to receive the bride and the groom,so I handled over the camera to my colleagues and rushed to the house to change up,the distance from was far,so I showed my friend what to do. Coming back,he had done a good job and I took over from him,I didn't take much pictures because I was working under the instructions of the Bride. The groom was from the same church, both of them where so happy to marry each other. After everything, there was group pictures taken outside

In the evening was entertainment, so I was in one corner enjoying myself and also sharing with friends. It was almost 7 O'Clock pm, though a lot of people have gone because of distance,I tried my best to capture some Of the activities before I go,I was not an official camera man, rather i only cover my childhood Friend

After everything I went back home and at home it was 8:20 pm and I bath and go to bed and sleep.

Lessons I learned From The Marriage

• There's mush Expenses in our culture
• The parents ate so much in demand of iterms from the groom's family
• It a celebration to both Bride and Groom
• Marriage Comes with Blessings

thank you for sharing in my culture
