Love is argueably the most universal word used in the world, nevertheless
Love appears to be the most misunderstood and misused word. People perceived Love according to their perspective and peculiarity. seen. This account for why people had different love languages. Love therefore can be defined in diverse ways. We shall be looking at five definitions of love.

1. Love can be defined as showing of affection through words of affirmation. This means given an encouraging words to some one. For example words like you can do it, don't be discouraged. We are in this together. Be strong, be courageous be, confident , I love you, You are beautiful or handsome, and so on.
2. Love can be defined as an affection shown through act of service. That is lendincg a helping hand. For example helping in the kitchen while cooking either to cut vegetables or to wash plate, fetching water, helping to sweep, to make the bed , bath children, when you are ask to go one mile you do two, assisting elderly people with load and the like.
3. Love can also be defined as an expression of affection through spending quality time with some one. This means given one attention and sharing in one's interest, always being there for some one. For example spending time to talk, walk , going out on a date and so on.
4. Further more, love can be defined as deep and real emotional expression of affection through physical touch. This is a demonstration of affection through meaningful touch. For example holding hands while watching television, hugging or embracing some one. Kissing someone, tickling and so on.
5. Moreso, love can be defined as a demonstration of affection through giving of gift to some one. This means buy or getting some things
   For some one. For example buying of cards, flowers, clothes, undies, buy snacks meats, car and so on.
   As for me my preferred love language centred on quality time, I love being with someone who gives me attention, who listens to me, who I can talk my heart and will be patient with me, who understands my pain, joys and who can always be there for me.
   Love indeed means different things to different people depending on one's world view. However there is a deeper and sacred meaning of love which the holy writ has explained. It's is sacrificial and unconditional. It's divinely imparted, through personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Such love unlike the ones mentioned earlier seek to serve and not to be served. It is patient and kind, does not keep record of wrongs, not jealous or boastful. It endures and protect all things. Only this kind of love will make the world and the society a better place to live.
