I Am Henry Solomon Onyekachi.
From Delta State, Nigeria. I am currently based in Abuja.. This city teaches you to be ambitious to be patient and to be resilient whether you like it or not. Abuja is a city that compels you to learn these things.

I did not find Hive by chance. I came to Hive on purpose. Was referred by special Someone at a time in my life when I really wanted to grow and learn new things and that was more important to me than what other people thought.
I have a background that's really a mix of three things: Technology, Finance and Business. My background sits at an interesting spot where Technology, Finance and Business all come together.
Personally, I can tell you that those three things do not always get along with each other.
Technology taught me how systems actually work. I have learned a lot about technology.
Finance is really something that taught me how money behaves. I mean it is about understanding money and how it works.
Business really taught me how the real world works. I'v learned that business is about understanding what happens in reality.
Each one of these things has really shaped the way I think, the way I move around, and the way I make my decisions.
β In tech I have learned that being relevant is something you have to keep working for. it is not something that you can just have forever. If you stop trying to learn things the system will slowly start to replace you. There will be no warnings, no apologies and no sympathy. You will just have to deal with updates that you did not prepare for and technology keeps moving forward with or, without you so you have to keep up.
β Finance taught me a lesson in a different way. It made me understand that numbers are always honest. They do not consider how you feel. The flow of money will show you the mistakes you made faster than your enthusiasm for anything else. Making a plan is important. Being disciplined is important. Choosing the time is important. Finance is a teacher, and Finance will make you see that it isn't about how you feel but about the money and the decisions you make with your Finances.
And business?
βThis has been My lifes Examination, Cause my family has always been involved in business so I guess you can say that business is in my genes.
It combines a lot of things like people and the pressure they put on you and the uncertainty of what will happen and the strategy you use and your ego and how patient you are, and the fact that you will probably fail sometimes. This is where you find out if you are really confident or not and where your assumptions are either right or totally wrong and if they are wrong you will have to deal with the consequences, which can be pretty tough on the confidence of the people involved.
Just Like other Young peoplemy age, life did not tell me that:
Most people who are building something that really matters are figuring it out as they go along, They do not have all the answers
People usually do not say things openly. They just keep it to themselves. They Don't say it out loud.
That is one reason I'm here.
I am interested in business, technology and real life because that is where my everyday experiences happen. Business and technology are a part of my life. One decision about business or technology can cost me money. Another decision can cost me time. Another decision can cost me peace of mind.. Sometimes one lesson, about business or technology can completely change the direction of my life.
On this Space I do not pretend to have everything figured out.
I do not also sell the idea that struggling is something to be proud, thereby wearing it like a badge of honor. Struggle is a part of life and people should hear about it.
I will be totally honest, with everything I share here.
Lessons from my journey in tech and finance
Business insights shaped by experience, not theory
Real-life reflections from navigating growth, pressure, and responsibility
Ideas that help us think clearly not just make us feel happy.
These are the thoughts that really help our minds work better.
We need thoughts that help our minds to think clearer about things.
Thoughts like these make a difference, in our lives they help our minds to really think clearly not just feel better for a little while.
So, Sometimes I will write with confidence. sometimes I will not.
Sometimes I will write things down while I am still learning
Always real.
Growth does not just happen suddenly. It takes time to see the changes in yourself. At least that is what I have found out from my Experience.
I have learned that being an adult comes with exams:
So when the plan changes can you really adapt to the plan? I mean things do not always go as planned. The plan can change at any time. So it is really important to be able to adapt to the plan. The plan is not always set in stone.
Staying disciplined is really hard when nobody is watching you...
This space is where I will talk about Experiences. I will be open always. I will be thoughtful, sometimes I will be funny. But I will always be honest when I talk about those Experiences.
Lets connect if:
You are navigating tech, or Learning new skills.
