My Introductory Post on Hive

Hello Hive Family

My name is Akinde Abosede, I'm from Ogun State, born and brought up in Ilaro. I’m 25 years old and I’m really excited to be here on this amazing platform. It’s a big step for me and I’m happy to share a bit about myself with you all

I attended CAC Primary School at Oke Ela, Ilaro, that’s where my education journey started. After primary school, instead of going straight to secondary school, I decided to follow one of my passions. I went ahead to learn hair dressing, makeup, gele tying, pedicure and nails fixing. I was so interested in beauty work because I love seeing people look good and it gives me joy when I make someone happy through my work

Aside from that, I also have this love for Tech. I just feel tech is the future and I want to be part of it. So I started learning and growing myself in the tech world. Today, I’m proud to say I’m a professional SDR (Sales Development Representative), a UI/UX Designer, and I also do some Video Editing. It’s not been an easy journey but with God and consistency, I’m growing step by step

Let me talk small about what I enjoy doing when I’m not working 😄. My hobbies includes listening to music and dancing (I can dance for Africa o😂), and I really love watching cartoons and American movies. I don’t joke with my favourite food o 😋, I love eating Rice and Beans with Dodo, and I take a lot of fruits. Fruit is bae 💯

Now let me tell you how I found myself here on Hive. To be honest, at first I was not too sure about joining. My mentor @neysco kept telling me about Hive and the great opportunity it brings. I was feeling reluctant at first, but he kept pushing and encouraging me. So I finally said let me just try it and see how it goes. And here I am today, happy to be part of this great community

I’m really looking forward to meeting amazing people here, learning new things and also sharing value in my own little way. I believe this journey will be full of growth, fun and connections. I want to also use this medium to say a big thank you to @neysco for not giving up on me. Sometimes, we just need that one person who believe in us more than we believe in ourselves

So Hive fam, this is me simple, real, and ready for the next chapter
