The lemon tree/ Der Zitronenbaum

Good morning everyone, wishing you all a bright and cheerful day. I would like to show you my painting with the lemons and the flowers. I also coloured this with a little metallic paint and normal watercolour.

Guten Morgen zusammen, ich wünsche euch allen einen hellen und fröhlichen Tag. Ich möchte euch gerne mein Bild mit den Zitronen und den Blumen zeigen. Ich habe es auch mit ein wenig Metallic-Farbe und normaler Aquarellfarbe koloriert.

I chose the motif spontaneously, I saw lemons as they look in the shop but imagined them on a tree, which is a rarity here in Germany. I myself have never seen a lemon tree here except in a video about the "agricultural rebel" Sepp Holzer, an Austrian German who doesn't let the state dance on his nose and doesn't contaminate his land with chemical pesticides. He has been dragged to court several times for this, but when you see what he is fighting for, you understand a lot.

Das Motiv habe ich spontan gewählt, ich habe Zitronen gesehen, wie sie im Laden aussehen, habe sie mir aber an einem Baum vorgestellt, was hier in Deutschland eine Seltenheit ist. Ich selbst habe hier noch nie einen Zitronenbaum gesehen, außer in einem Video über den "Agrarrebellen" Sepp Holzer, einen österreichischen Deutschen, der sich nicht vom Staat auf der Nase herumtanzen lässt und sein Land nicht mit chemischen Pestiziden verseucht. Er wurde dafür schon mehrmals vor Gericht gezerrt, aber wenn man sieht, wofür er kämpft, versteht man vieles.

Everything around the site is dilapidated and infested with pests, except for Sepp Holzer's soil, where everything harmonises, grows and thrives in natural symbiosis. Sepp Holzer is a really great example of what nature can be like if you live with it and don't act against it.

Alles um das Gelände herum ist verfallen und von Schädlingen befallen, bis auf den Boden von Sepp Holzer, wo alles in natürlicher Symbiose harmoniert, wächst und gedeiht. Sepp Holzer ist ein wirklich tolles Beispiel dafür, wie Natur sein kann, wenn man mit ihr lebt und nicht gegen sie handelt.
