Budget meal $2

Some guy in the US made a Budget meal for 2 persons at $1 which is impressive.
So how come people still tell us that the US is expensive?
I want to recreate his meal as best as I can which the prices I have here in Denmark.

I did make this meal and I am honestly insane surprised at how cheap it came out to be!
I made it for 1 person though (not sure how you can be full from what he made for 2 persons) and it came out to be $2 dollars, which is pretty impressive :D
I didn't get the pepper, since I couldn't find some and I also got a can of kidney beans instead of dry beans.
We dont have bulk buys readily available here. Its possible to buy bags of dried carbs at some places. Most just have the canned version though.
