SHORT Token Current Status 8.11.26

Hello dear Cent Community. We have been working on the SHORT token for some time now. The latest update report on the token was published at the end of August. In that report, we announced that we were planning some improvements to the token. In September, the staking feature of SHORT was activated. And we started distributing staking rewards with a 10% APR. In October, we launched the token's reward pool. We have been testing the token's reward pool for a few weeks now.

Currently, you can earn the token by creating content and curating. The reward pool generates 1 token every 10 minutes. All earned rewards are staked. Reward earnings are 50% writer/50% curator. Since the token needs to move within a certain price range, we will continue to balance the reward pool's reward distribution strategy. At the same time, liquidity pools will also be supported to ensure the token moves within the target price range.

SHORT's reward pool scans CENT's community page and the 'cent' tag. Voting power consumption is the same as Hive (HP). This means you can curate content on the community page and tag with a standard Hive account. Rewards are distributed via Hive-Engine SMT. You don't need to claim any rewards.

We continue to distribute rewards in the Hive/SHORT, HBD/SHORT, and Cent/SHORT liquidity pools. However, in line with the strategy of the project, we are giving more importance to the Hive/SHORT pool. We will continue to provide liquidity to the HBD and CENT pools of the token via the @centtoken account so that users can perform large-scale trading transactions. Market making operations in the token market also continue.

In short, you can continue to earn HIVE with a 10% APR by staking the token. You can also earn rewards by creating content or curating on Cent's community page and the 'cent' tag. We will start providing data on the reward pool's APR in the coming weeks. The SHORT introduction text will be updated shortly to cover the topic.
