Every two seconds is Sunday.

Well well, I am here to rant. Who else have noticed the way time flies these days? I don’t even understand what’s in the world is going on. Just that somewhere deep down in my heart, I know that everything is not alright with the world cos what in the name of rushing of time is all this.

I wake up and before I say Jack, the day has finished. It’s like I can barely do anything useful and the time will just vanish. Just few minutes ago Which was Sunday, I went to church and I just blinked my eyes and it’s Sunday again and I just blink again and it’s another Sunday. Yea, cos it feels like it’s every two seconds am wondering what to wear to church again only to realize it’s Sunday again. For crying out loud, I just came back from church two seconds ago.

Well, I thought I was the only one who was noticing this awkwardness with the timing and the speed with which it is passing by until my friend mentioned that she saw a post online where someone said every two seconds is Friday. That was when I knew that I was not alone in this strange experience.

My friend yesterday was complaining of how we just celebrated new years few days ago and it’s already May. The question is where is the time running to. It’s like time can’t just wait to wind up. She said before people pray for the week to finish. Time is so long that the whole week take time before it comes to an end but now, at the blink of the eyes, the week is gone. We are talking of the week now no longer days.

Am still in awe on how we are already in the month of May. For all I care we just finished saying happy new year just yesterday. I don’t know if I am the only one that should be worried about how time flies. The year 2025 flew by and I was complaining bitterly and it’s like 2025 be telling me you ain’t seen anything yet.

I want to take a few minutes naps and I close my eyes and open them and the day is already gone. I see my period one day and the next time I blink it’s back again cos it’s already the next month. It’s my mum’s birthday that I used to use and know that the year has rushed by again in the twinkle of an eye cos I send her money for her birthday and I would always tell myself that the next year birthday I would do better because probably I should have blown by then.

That next year is here already and I have not blown oo. How long will I continue like this. The years are speeding by and I am getting older which I don’t want to. Some how I just wish I could pause the year for a while and breathe a little and then play it again so we continue again.

It’s so crazy and the only thing that keeps coming to my mind with this speeding time is that the world is coming to an end or something has spoilt in the cosmo or else how do you explain what’s is happening with the time speeding? Cos what in the name of time speeding is all these.
