Five Months of Growth: Powering Up CENT Amid Market Declines on #CPUDDay

Today is my fifth month, and today is #cpudday in the month of love.

After a month, the USD value of my Hive Engine tokens suffered a huge drop from $73.7 to $45.216. That's a 38.64% decline. This is despite the fact that for the whole month I keep adding LEO, SWAP.GIFU, BBHO, and BEE. Earlier I powered up 1,000 CENT:

Last month, my CENT ending balance was 10,581 worth $18.37. Today, after powering up, my CENT holdings increased to 11,606 worth $12.26. Though I added 1,025 CENT, the USD value declined $6.11, a 33.26% drop. This is because the price of CENT dropped from $0.0017 or 0.00352 HIVE last month to $0.0010566 or 0.00326001 HIVE today. Again, the current market price of CENT is still very far from the intended peg of one cent. If we believe in the long-term prospect of this project and think that the peg is achievable, this shows a huge space for growth.

How about my LEO holdings? The USD value of my LEO stake dropped from $37.33 last month to $14.344 today. It's good that what we do here on Hive is just micro-investing. If this is macro, such a decline would be shocking! Imagine adding more LEO within a month, and instead of growth, what we see is a 61.47% drop. And this is happening despite the many updates and developments going on in the InLeo project.

Nevertheless, despite the current decline, I am still grateful, for it is still fresh in my mind that five months ago, this account was zero. Today, if I combine both my HP and the value of my Hive Engine tokens, the total value is $114.746, which is still far better than zero.

As for my 100,000 CENT goal, I still need to accumulate 88,394 CENT. With the small amount I am powering up monthly, I think I cannot achieve that number within this year. Once my oldest brother is done with his goal, I think my family will contribute CENT to my account for me to achieve my goal in 2025.
