This month we see some minor changes in the Genesis set, where you saw some amazon cards see more play due to the amazon revival (Agrdor Protector and Myrto's Daughter). At the same time, seeing seven cards not being played at all in the mythic tier. Also, many of the Genesis cards have seen a 50% drop in price. You can find the spreadsheet with all the stats at the end of this post. So without further ado, I present to you the Genesis set breakdown for the month of April.
We saw a slight uptick in play this month for this card due to the amazonian revival. It is still a solid removal spell for amazon decks, and we will have to see where this card goes in the future.
This stayr is slowling shiting its way in to non exsistence as both play rate and win rate has hit abysmal levels.
With one game played in all ranks, it is safe to say this card is the worst nature card through all sets. Please don't be that poor soul who thinks it's a genesis card; it somehow must be OP.
There is nothing to see here but its over poweredness; it will be the best two-cost wild drop until something else comes along. You can slot this card into any deck variation, and it will give you value. It dominates this set as the best card in all categories.
This druid has been sliding down the list for the past couple of months. It seems that its steep price and meta viability has affected this card.
With the meta shifting this month to more aggro play, it makes sense that this card took a hit. It is played mainly in control nature decks, and until that becomes viable again, this charm will be locked away.
With players playing guerilla training, this card has lost its value, and it's hard to see it coming back into the meta, although maybe I will stand corrected.
I have kept trying to work this card into aggro nature regen decks, and it's hard; I feel other cards do a better job. Thus this card, too, will be in my nether realm.
This card had its place in the low-tier play, although that also seems to be diminishing quickly. You still could fit this card into your decks, but it won't be the optimal choice.
Another card that is falling out of favor for better removal spells such as canopy barrage and lightning strike. It has seen a fall in all categories of play.
This card again is sliding in play rate, although their are niche cases this card could be used in such as aggro nature decks.
This naturalist has seen better days, with nature players having better card draw options it is no suprise that this card is seeing less arena time.
This card has lost its value overall as there are cards such as revivification to replace it with. Although, there is a steady amount of play in tiers below mythic.
Natures version of enraging ally, it still can be slotted into aggro nature decks. Although players seem to have drifted away from this card as play rates keep plummeting.
This exploer has lost its way to the arena as it's play rate has plummeted into to abysmal levels.
This card is also slipping in pay rate; it can still be played in aggro deck variations. With pack stalk becoming popular, this may be a card that nature aggro players will look to as well.
This card has too much competition, and with better relic options present for nature players there is no question why it is lacking in play rate.
With player mving n to better cards this ranger is feeling the pain as its play rates has declined in all tiers of play.
Even with the amazon meta coming and going, this card only took a hit in play rate. I thought this card might see some playtime with an amazon revival, but I stand corrected.
It saw a upsurge in play last month although this month it has fallen off a cliff in all tiers of play.
It is intresting that this card hold value in lower tiers of play, as there are better card draw options for nature players, such as celestial stag.
Another card that missed the amazon revival train, it saw no growth even in the month that saw the amazon meta come to fruition.
You could deinitely tech in this card in aggro decks, although it doesnt seem to be the case this month.
Interestingly, this card saw an uptick in play, especially in mythic play from the previous months. Is it because it was an amazon? That makes no sense; please teach me your hidden ways if you are a Mistress Scythia player.
With the CSR changes to amazons and having the amazon revivla this month we did see an uptick in play in mythic tier play for this card.
Drudic summons is mainly seen in lower tier play, which I beleive slots into nature zoo deck variations. Although this month it has seen its playrate dwindle.
Another amazon that missed the amazon revival bus, it is suprising that this month it has a lower play rate fom previous months.
The only reason you would be playing this is if you are playing amazons in a magic-heavy meta. Even then, there are better four cost cards for amazons.
Another month where this card is falling in play rate. It is no suprise as there are better buff options such as sudden bloom for nature players.
It is not surprising to see the queen of this set fall in play rate, as it was mainly played in control nature deck variations. Even though play rates have dipped, the win rate for this card is excellent.
This card has seen better days; both play rates and win rates dropped for this card. I am unashamed to say that I slotted this in my amazon deck and contributed to its win rate downfall.
With the amazon revival, this was another card in this set that saw an uptick in play. it will be interesting to see if this card can hold its own after the amazon nerfs.
It is only seen in lower tiers of play, and even then, it would be rare to see this card in one of your games. I see no future upside for this card.
Last month I believed it would see more play due to amazons getting buffed, although I was dead wrong. It saw less play in all tiers. I believe it's due to the mana cost of the card and amazons being an aggro nature deck.
With frost giant Deadshot getting a buff during the CSR changes, it is no wonder this card took a hit in play in all tiers. I still believe it has a place in niche mid-ranged/control nature decks.
I hoped the downfall for this card would end last month, but alas, it was not so. Even with the amazons coming to prominence this month, it saw less play in all tiers.
This card, too has seen better days as it has seen dwindling pay across all tiers. This is most likely due to the nature control meta falling out of favor.
Are you feeling lucky? Do you want to play a fun control deck to meme? Look no further; you have found your card to construct your deck around. I will not be responsible for any of your losses.
Only seen in lower tier play, there are better seven cost cards you canplay around.
This card too is only seen in lower tiers of play, it can be a game changer if you draw it at an oppertune time.
Another card seeing pay only in lower tiers, with cards like oliphant exsistitng it is hard to see this card coming into play.
Yet another legndary with play only in tiers below mythic. This cad is extrlegendaryeamly hard to fit into any nature decks. I don't honestly see any changes in play rate in the future.
As stated in my introduction, we saw minor changes from the last month, the biggest winners of this month being Mytro's Daughter. One main thing to note is that most cards have had a price drop of around 50%. I hope everyone's ranked weekend went well. Below is a quick snapshot of the highest and lowest rated cards in each category, also the spreadsheet for all the above stats.

Ah, the cards I only see when I randomly get them from Celestial Stag haha.
Mistress Scythia was seeing play maybe because of people trying to make Curious Wisp decks work?
Really? That's just asking for a loss though. I really can't wrap my head around that card. Being doing these breakdowns for awhile too. Btw, not financial advise but its time to buy some of these genesis cards it's on a 50% off sale.

It's interesting seeing the huge difference in power level in genesis looking at Underbrush Boar arguably the best 2 drop and Dense Fog an absolute meme card.
Genesis is a wacky set, not to mention most legendaries for nature in this set are useless.
