With Mortal Judgement set dropping in the middle of last month and CSR changes, we saw different deck variations for nature. Even though it wasn't the best month for nature players, as all other domains had a higher winrate, let us dive into the numbers to see what's working and what's not. As usual, you can find the spreadsheet at the bottom, so without further ado, here is the Core Card Breakdown for the month of April.
Pack stalk has come a long way om the last few months. There was an upsurge in pay due to amazon's for this card, and it is still a tech for niche decks.
It is still the bread and butter of nature one cost units. The stickiness of this unit has not been usurped; thus, it is a must in all nature decks. It also regained its crown in mythic play as the most played card.
With the CSR changes and MJ dropping, this card saw an uptick in pay in all ranks. Although I see a bleak future for this card as amazons got a nerf, it hasn't helped this card.
You will only encounter this card below mythic play. Its value lies in zoo deck variations, and you don't see that much in higher tiers. It again is a niche card for niche decks.
It saw an uptick in play with the buffs this month, although the GU devs reverted the buffs, and it's back to where it was now. Going forward, I see less play time for this card.
With amazon decks being played this card saw a lot of play; it is interesting to see how the next month will play out for this card. If you are playing amazon zoo, this card is an easy slot in your deck.
I am curious to see why this card has such a high price, even though it has low play rates and win rates in all tiers. Let me know if I'm missing something here, as this card needs a rework in my opinion.
This pup is too coin flippy; the other two mana cost cards can fair better than it. Even though it has seen a minor play rate rise, I would say the jury is still out on this card.
Even with thee amazon play this past month tribal orc saw a low play and win rate. The CSR name change didn't help this card to get into players decks.
This beetle is booming; it has seen a meteoric rise in play rate as a premier one mana cost card. I see this being the alternate one mana cost go to other than marsh walker for the foreseeable future.
This card saw an uptick in play this month with amazons rising; I am curious to see how it will fair next month with amazons being nerfed.
This card, too, saw more playtime this month due to higher amazon deck play; it fairs well versus magic decks. If playing amazons, I highly recommend adding this card to your deck.
This card has summoned its way into relevancy as play rates in all tiers saw a positive change. Although, there are better card draw options for nature players, such as celestial stag.
This amazon saw more play, especially in the mythic tier. It was a must-have in mythic amazon decks. We will have to see how this card fairs next month with amazon nerfs.
This warrior saw a higher play rate in the mythic tier, although it regressed overall. I still believe you need to slot this card in your amazon decks.
The black jaguar is standing strong even after the mortal judgment drop. It is a must-have in almost all nature decks, and it shows in the play rate and win rates.
This monkey again took home the prize for the most played card in all tiers this month. It has not been affected by the MJ drop or the CSR and holding strong as a premier low-cost removal spell.
This month this blade took a step back as other relics took priority. It is not a bad card by any means and still can be slotted into most decks.
Nothing changed for Guerilla training this month. It is still a niche card that can be slotted in to most decks.
As I predicted last month, this has become the premier relic for nature players, and its usurped fae flameblade as the most played relic in the mythic tier. We will have to see if it can hold its status next month.
This shaman stayed its course and saw no major change in play or winrates. It is still a card you could slot in your amazon decks, although there are better cards you could use.
Even with amazon decks rampaging last month this card didn't see any significant change. Again, it is because there are more effective three cost cards for amazon decks.
This card took the prize for being the best three-cost amazon card, and for a good reason. It was a bit of a problem for the dev team as it has great value and synergy in amazon decks.
This satyr danced its way into relevency this month. It was mostly played in nature zoo deck variations and saw metioric rise in mythic play.
Even after the CSR buffs this card has lost its relevency. It is mainly played below mythic tier.
This card is a must-have removal spell for nature decks and it shows in its play rate. It seems to have taken a backseat to canapoy barrage after its adjustment.
This moon hound took a backseat this month, as a new doggo Dagan arrived in town. It saw a significant loss in both play and win rates.
I am surprised to see this card regress in play when it was the month when amazons took over. It may need a buff to see relevancy and get into players' decks.
Nothing changed for this fly as it is still a go to four cost card for nature players. Even after CSR changes and Mortal Judgement drop it hold strong as a board control monster.
As the big beast deck variations are dead, this card too has seen massive fall out with the player base.
As a key card for the nature regen variations, this card holds strong and sees play in all tiers. Unless and until nature regen is overthrown, we will not see this card go anywhere soon.
This card took a backseat this month due to the Mortal Judgement drop. "Sword Breaker Sage" has taken this cards place in most nature decks.
Even though it got a slight buff with the CSR it is yet to see significant play in any tier. It is more or less the poor mans wildfire.
Even after the CSR buff this lion hasn't seen any signiicant change in play or win rates. It still can be slotted into nature zoo dck variations.
There are better frontline options for nature decks. Also, guild enforcer is still on the table, and I would say a better card than this Hippo. It saw a small uptick in play below mythic.
With cards like "agrodor Protector" being there for nature amazon variations, Jungle princess had a bad month, barely seeing any play this month.
Better card draw options are present in the current meta for nature players. Thus this card is seeing low pay rates overall.
This minotaur took a hit from the nerf bat this month as it was a tad bit too strong. Although, it has not detracted players from adding this card to their decks as it saw a high play rate in all tiers of play.
This card was a must-play in amazon variations, and the dev team nerfed it to the ground. Thus we saw a slight uptick in play rate and then back to obscurity.
There was a significant rise in play for this card as it overtook the pangolin as the go-to six mana cost card. Anyone's guess is how long this will last as control nature variants are struggling in the current meta.
The prowler saw a minor play rate hike due to amazons being relevant, although I won't recommend playing this card in amazon decks. I would rather slot in lower mana cost cards instead of this.
Another staple nature removal spell, it is holding strong and is another must have in nature decks. I don't see this changing anywhere in the future.
Just like overgrown rhino, this card too has fallen out of the meta as it was only relevent in big beast variations.
This card is so hard to slot in, and if you do, it would most likely be a controlled nature deck. The meta is not favorable to this card, and it is showing in all tiers of play.
The meta doesnt suite this Oliphant, as aggro nature decks have taken over and it has no place for this card.
It is, in my opinion a great finisher and most likely will take the place of cards such as Guerilla Gardner. It also saw a slight uptick in play this month.
Although there are better eight costs in the nature domain, you could slot in as a finisher in decks. That said, it took a hit in play rate across all tiers of play.
After the CSR changes and Mortal judgement set dropping in the middle of the month, we saw different variations of nature play. We even saw amazons rise into prominence until it got hit with the nerf bat. Card prices are still plummetting, which is natural as markets are crashing. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I used the jolly Green Giant in my Welcome and Core Nature deck and it was doing great things; it counters Anubians well and is a big threat that isn't that easy to get rid of. The overkill means frontlines aren't protecting everything. I'm going to change out my Pangos for this guy.
Right now people have changed their pangos to FrostGiant Deadshot, its got better stats. The Green Giant isn't a bad card by any means. The meta right now is aggro though, I don't play any 6 mana cost cards other than the hunt.
Kinda hard to run 6 drops with the meta being so aggressive. I wonder how midrange nature would do in the meta.
