A Fun Discord Event Riddled with well.... Riddles

Greeting everyone and welcome to another Gods Unchained post. Some of you may be aware of the peculiar rumours swirling around "The Flickering Tavern" or even participated in the various daily riddles in Gods Unchained discord. These discord events were fun and engaging and rewarded various roles to the participants. These riddles were fun and engaging for the community, good job to Vesper the community manager for placating the anxiousness that everyone was feeling with the forge (the core feature to actually play and improve/get cards in gods unchained) down. The end of this event resulted in some great news including the improium and bulk forging on the horizon. Finally!

The forge and Imporium coming tomorrow?

According to the news on discord and from God's Unchained blog the forge will come back online, new and improved! I know it's been weeks and I was sortof jonesing to forge my cards to diamond. Particularly some spicy EB fare muahahahahaha. Mostly for myself to flex the only diamond in existence of a few cards 😎 they were a fair prize too. The imporium is going to be an interesting addition to GU and balanced over the course of the year, a constantly churning side-set that will cost 2-12 dollars to purchase from the store each week. Which for a unique promo isn't that crazy tbh. That's just a few days of dp2e with a shiney deck, if tokenomics change this may feel a bit steep is a worry. $GODs is sortof a low price right now and dumping during alt season (unfortunate indeed). So the price tag might be a hefty sum of daily earnings each week even for the highest tiers of earning. Maybe flux will be a part of this to offset overtime? We'll see. I'll take anything fresh at this point

Talking Tidbits: Devs Cookin'

The developers are cooking up odds and ends that the community has wanted for a long time. The forge is back (new and improved), they are periodically adding cards to Core, and now offering a new week by week promo card for a yearly rotating promotional set called "Rebirth". Honestly this bit of spice to the game/meta should add interesting gameplay interactions to all ranks. Good job team, I know it's hard working on this game with the limited resources you guys are given so kudos for adding little things that will keep the grind fresh week to week. I know I was definitely being a bit pouty and said some harsh trolly things in discord throughout these last few weeks, but keep in mind I am trying to keep everything light with a bit of "gallows humour" take what I say with a grain of salt in discord (sometimes the intent is to troll or engage with friends of mine, don't worry too much about it). I was being critical aswell in moments of deadpan sincerity, but I do mean well and don't take is personally those of you who bring us one of our favorite card games.
