Greetings everyone and welcome to another Gods Unchained post. I know it's been a while, I've been having a hard time balancing all the spinning plates recently and blogging is one of the more neglected plates I'm trying to spin. None the less, here we are and GU has come out with a new set. It's fucking busted by and large, all of which I covered in my twitch video below (a lot of it is just playing the game but the starting part I talk about each card etc.)

Here is said tierlist.

These cards are busted and probably too good in their current state. They either have too crazy of stats are "remove or die" cards, or have effects that are really strong and/or unprecedented and warp the game.
These cards are really good and will shape the meta but aren't so egregiously beyond busted as S tier. Strong with strong synergies in the current meta.
Very usable cards, not weak by anymeans but they aren't going to define the meta either.
Pretty fucking meh, not really that good by any means but will likely be shined up as cheap suboptimal cards. Not entirely unusable but getting there.
These cards are actually just too niche to really be considered "good". 2 damage deal 1 to all non-everborn cards is something that can be used in everborn decks in standard along with the new spellboost guy (will be busted there), but in the general meta this card is eclipsed by core cards etc. outside of the one instance the spell is kindof medicore. The relic is objectively worse than "The Broken Seal" and will hardly ever see play outside of a single in really greedy everborn mage decks that need an extra relic tossed into the deck because they need to stop their ONE counter of "relic removal into CTI" by having the ability to just draw another relic that generates sporos. In the current meta these cards are bad outside of niche scenarios in or outside of standard.

I know things are dire for GU but sometimes we have to look at the silver linings. The game is still up and coming out with new cards periodically (even though this level of development is the level of development other indie game studios often get called out for "not working on a project" if they have multiple irons in the fire), it still means the game isn't dead and will likely continue to live on for a while. A lot of other card games have come and gone and died by the wayside during GU's run, particularly in web3. So what it has and continues to achieve is no small feat, but it should be noted that card games do die all the time and GU isn't immune to this either. GU will continue to press on but it needs fresh blood to not start becoming a bit of a desiccated husk, things need to change. Anywho, I'll see all you folks in Eucos dropping cards throughout the week. More posting incoming too. Thanks for all of your continued support and engagement everyone, you all rock and are what make it worth posting!
