Becoming adults is complicated. For example, I have sometimes thought I had Peter Pan Syndrome. I had no interest in believing, not precisely because I didn't have responsibilities, but because I liked my life as a happy child.

Yes, you are right. We want to keep living that happy life as a child but it's not a stage that will remain forever, it's a cycle and here we are.
