Anabel was literally going to quarrel with anyone who makes jest of her relationship and especially the fact that she’s dating a man who’s house and whereabouts isn’t known.
Her man was just so enough for her that she stopped moving with her old friends and no one understands what kind of sweet words her lover must have told said to her.
Anabel’s lover, Andrew’s mouth is full of honeyed words and is so good at making ladies fall in love with him through the words of his mouth and no one ever tries to place a check on his words except those who are not madly in love with him.

Out of love, Anabel was ready to do anything for her boyfriend as long as she has the capacity to do it for him.
“Babe, I’m rich oh. I saved a sum of three thousand dollars in three years” as a lady who’s so secretive about her financial status but she dares not hide anything from her lover, she then reveals to him about a sum of money she has been saving since she got employed in her current workplace three years ago.

For the people close to Anabel, they wondered how she trusted a man whom she doesn’t even know his house nor his friends and the height of it all is how she tells him everything including the things he’s not supposed to know all in the name of how much she loves him.
Aside from the fact that Andrew’s home or whereabouts were never found out, he was so good and loving to Anabel. He was just her dream man after her past relationships didn’t work out.

“Babe, I’ll be needing some funds to invest in a profitable business. I don’t have enough funds but I know if you rally around, you’ll be able to get it for me and in three days, I’ll give you back double of your money,” the trust which is needed in a real and proper relationship was what Anabel gave all for this relationship to work.

She loves Andrew and he knows fully well that she was going to get the money for him. Anabel was just a call away from her bank manager, Selene and ordered her to transfer all the funds in her account to her lover’s bank account.

“Ma, this isn’t a good idea and by doing this, I’ll be losing a client so think about me and yourself as well,” Selene’s advice was nothing in the ears of a girl who was crazily in love with her man.
All Anabel wanted was a transfer of her funds to the bank account of her man and she got all that she wanted.

All of a sudden, Andrew was not able to be reached. The only way he can be reached is through a phone call but the network provider keeps telling Anabel that Andrew’s phone is switched off.
In a nutshell, there was no way Anabel could locate Andrew.
It’s normal to cry for help but for her, crying for help will even make her friends mock her so she kept that to herself for days and called Andrew countless times. It’s either his phone rings and he’s not picking up or his line is switched off.
Any day she wants to speak out for her friends to know the situation at hand, she thinks of the mockery that will come after then so that felt like the wrongest thing to do.

“How come I wasn’t reasonable enough to ask Andrew where he was living or even have the contact of any of his friends?” this was when Anabel started regretting the mistakes she had made earlier.

Eventually, Anabel understood that she had been blinded by the honeyed words that Andrew said to her. Also, she understood that she had been blinded by love to the point of believing all that Andrew had said. She then understood that there was no legal business Andrew could venture in which will make him give her double of the money she loaned him in just three days. All the facts she had failed to realize began to dawn on her.
