An intriguing story. Kathryn misjudged her parents' deeds as selfishness but the otherworldly meeting with the spirit of her departed grandmother made her realise her parents did what they did out of love for her and her brother. It's good this happened or Kathryn would have habored unnecessary resentment against her parents.
