This also happened to me when my husband traveled, leaving me and my kids at home. It was my birthday, and no one bothered to wish me one. I was expecting one, but no one wished me one.
After putting up a bold face, my husband sent me an airtime gift and backed it up with a message that boosted my mood into a joyful one. He called me and wished me a happy birthday.
It's good that they troop in to wish you a wonderful birthday.

Aww, your husband did a great job with that. I don't know how they get to put on a boldface at home when it's your birthday when the whole house is supposed to be happy.
