School days are one of the fun moments of our lives, although despite how fun they are, I can't help but recognize the fact that they seem like a form of disturbance at some time. But then I enjoyed my school days, and one of the reasons why I love my school days is because of the fun activities it comprises, one of which is my favorite subject. That love I've for the subject, I believe, was as a result of the teacher who taught the subject. And when it comes to why school can sometimes be annoying, it's because of subjects I'm not too good in and tend to score below average in.

My favorite subject in school, especially during my secondary school days, known to some as high school, was geography. I so much love the subject for two reasons. One, like I stated above, is because of the person who taught the subject in my school, known simply as Ms. Sanni. She's a wonderful teacher who is well inclined about her subject area, and beyond that, she has great teaching and learning techniques that help her pass the message across to us about the subject for proper understanding. She's also good when it comes to practical aspects of the subject, like map reading and the like, and so my interest in the subject grew and went on to make it the subject I usually pass the highest in.
I also picked interest in the subject and became the best in it because I've loved and been fascinated by world exploration right from my tender age. This was probably as a result of the movies we watched that showed the beauty of nature spread across the world and the fact that my dad owned an atlas that helped me grasp the sights of different parts of the world and where various countries, continents, and the like are located. The love I've got for exploration makes me dedicate more time to studying this subject until I rise to the top of my class when it comes to geography.

On the other hand, the subject I perform the least in is actually associated with my local language, Yoruba. And that's probably because I just didn't find it easy learning English, various other subjects, and still learning my local language as a subject. It becomes difficult because its alphabet order and usage are kind of dynamic and different from the normal English, so I kind of mix it up often. The annoying past is how I don't understand the difference in the marking above each vowel letter in a word, and those are important for people to understand what you're actually writing. And so for that reason, I kept on failing the subject till I graduated from school.
