It wasn't just a job, but it was a calling. I have done so many jobs in my life while growing up. Some I quit along the line because I wasn't feeling myself; there was one I did, and at some point I had to quit because it was beginning to affect my mental health, like my boss then was too hush, toxic name so because of that I quit the job. But this last one I went into, at first I was a little bit afraid, but along the line, I started enjoying the job like it was flowing well and it was fun too.

At this point I didn't just call it a job but a calling. I know you all are eager to know what I'm talking about; well, my calling is none other than teaching. Teaching is one job I see as my calling in life; let me tell you a story behind this statement. So there was a time in my church during the corona pandemic; we did have home church services, and the children did come to church too. One day our service secretary asked me to start teaching the children.
I accepted that work wholeheartedly; it was fun, to be honest. So after my NYSC, I started searching for a job, like I started earlier; I did like three different jobs, which didn't end up well for me. And then I applied for a teaching job; luckily I got it, and since then, like the relationship I have with the children, I love it. I remember how I helped two kids learn how to read even when almost all the school teachers had given up on them.
One of the parents even called to appreciate me in December. Like I easily connect with children, teaching is the best job I have had in my life. Thank you for stopping by.
Congratulations @tigrace The best kind of work is the kind you enjoy doing. For me, too, teaching writing has been a calling that I really enjoy.
