Have you ever thought there was plenty of time to do a particular thing and took no immediate action, then realized it was too late to do the thing?

Hmmm story of my life, once upon a time in my life, I think it should be about ten years ago, when I was still in the university, my second year I think, I was offered a government job as a police officer, police job then was a good job, unlike now that most are drunkard or illiterate, then I was around 19 years of age, so to me I was too young for such a job, so I decided to reject the offer and then I refused to accept the job offer, I thought I was still very young and had more or enough time to enjoy life before being committed to something serious,

and I also wanted to finish school and serve my country just like everyone else or before anything, but after I finished everything, and before I relised how much time I have, it was too late, I was over age, and not just that but the opportunity was no longer there for me, I felt bad and I still regret making that decision till date.
