What I Find Beautiful and Ugly in Life

Hello again! It’s weekend and I’m happy to join the weekend-engagement topics presented by admin @galenkp.

The topic that I have chosen is obviously written on my title already, what I find beautiful and ugly in life.

Our life was a wonderful gift given by our God, Life becomes beautiful depends on our perspective about it and behind every beautiful situation there’s an ugly truth about our life here on earth that we can’t control.

I want to start on the positive side; there is so many things to consider life to be beautiful. As I thought of something beautiful in life this morning what immediately comes to my mind is the beauty of kindness. To me being kind nowadays is considered to be a rare gem. Kindness transforms interactions into meaningful connections. A simple gesture of smile, how we talked with kindness brings out the good in every situation we are in. If we show kindness, everything was going smoothly and perfect in harmony. It feels like there is always peace if we show kindness to each one of us. The beauty of kindness was like a good medicine that everyone should take. What goes around comes around. If we show kindness, it will come to us unexpectedly. For me I find life to be beautiful through kindness.

As for the negative side. I find life ugly when people become judgmental. Even if they don’t know the truth behind, people become judgmental without caring if they will hurt the person involved in that situation, or when people become judgmental about physical appearances and the likes. Nobody has the right to judge others, but sometimes people intend to become judgmental. So, I find life ugly because of that. Judgmental leads to discrimination and other negative forces that is not good for building a good relationship towards others.

We only live once, so let’s choose to be positive and have a beautiful life instead of choosing negativity and being judgmental doesn’t bring any good to our life.

I used the photos to relate my topic because just like the flowers they are so beautiful but when dark comes, they became invisible and not really appreciated because we can’t see their colors. Just like our life sometimes it’s beautiful but sometimes it becomes ugly because of the things that we can’t control to happen.
