[WE-305] Missing The Time When Life Was Just All About Climbing The Tree and Hiding on The Roof.

I never even thought back then, that I will miss being a kid because of how much I want to grow faster so that I can finally escape home and live on my own. Being a kid as I am who doesn't know much how to be an adult, I have a lot of determination then and expectation that once I live on my own, my life will get better, my courage back then is at max too.

But as time goes by, I realized that it is actually not that easy. But the difference of my then to now is that, I am happier now. And now that all of my hatred in the world is gone, I can reminisce the past with a happy heart. I seriously miss a lot of being a kid. I miss those times I can run around, play with friends, and live as freely as a bird.

Hahh..those are my fun childhood. And to be honest, I miss those times than my time with my family. I kinda hated my family then, not anymore now though. I love my time with them now ♪⁠┌⁠|⁠∵⁠|⁠┘⁠♪

Now for the topic: What do you miss about being a child and why?

Climbing the tree without fears -I even climb up school fences just to buy junk foods at the small sari sari store at the back of the school, so climbing a tree back then is super easy. Why I miss it? Because on top of the tree, I can eat the fruit directly on top. Like you know, I work hard to pick the fruit, even climbing it, so eating it there is like a reward and I always love a rewards. Another thing is, when I'm on top of a tree, particularly the guava tree in our yard, I can escape the eyes of the oldies for a while. And seriously, I miss it because I can't climb them now. I am always overthinking that a branch of tree won't be able to carry me. But how I wish I can do that again. My favorite tree to climb up is a guava tree of course. I remember shaking it using my weight -and really, without fears. 0

Next is going to the rooftop using our window. Our old house really has a nice setup and I miss going to the roof just to hide when we play hide and seek or when I want to hide because I did something bad -this is where my escape route is, lol. The way to the rooftop is on the second floor and it has window, it has no proper support to go up to the rooftop but the second floor room has other door, its like a door on a ground floor, maybe for extra security purposes, made with a plywood and with hard wood. And I used it to climb up there. With my short legs, climbing is a challenge, its scary too because if I accidentally fall, the height is surely to kill a kid, lol. But still yeah, its a fun experience for me and I miss it. See, I don't fear this kind of thing back then, but I am so afraid to Mom, lol.

I also miss secretly eating a muffin while packing them, lol -we had bakery back then. And yes, that too, I miss the sight of my parents making bread and baking them too. Thinking about the bakery, I'm wondering how those people who used to work there now. Hope they're fine and happy too. I kinda miss being a pain in the arse for the people who used to take care of me when my oldies got busy delivering baked goodies. Hahhhh, I miss that I could do everything back then, as a kid, without the care in the world. I got in trouble a lot of times too but they are just a cute and funny memories now for me. And you know, there are times that I wish I am just a kid again. Just to experience those good times.
