Show us the best photograph you've taken personally and explain it.
It's hard to pinpoint the best photograph of all time, but for this week's prompt, here's my best photograph of 2026!

This photo was taken in Bangkok, Thailand, atop the restaurant "Level 50", one of the many rooftop restaurants and bars in the city.
I was in Bangkok last month and chanced upon this place. I didn't dine at the restaurant, but only visited out of curiosity, and to my surprise, the receptionist told me that there was a side door outside the restaurant where I could head out to see the night scenery. When I stepped out, there were quite a few groups of families and friends admiring the scenery and taking photos too. And of course, I also joined in to capture some photos too!
I must say, the quality of photos from a simple mobile phone is amazing. The actual photo turned out better than expected especially when this was a night time photo. The view wa actually away from the main city of Bangkok, so there were not many skyscrapers further out. Still a nice bird's eye view.
I chose this photo also because over the years, I realised I have enjoyed visiting Bangkok more and more, and like one of my colleagues said, I have been going Bangkok every year. While it's scorching hot in Bangkok, and the traffic jams can be bad at the wrong timings, they do have a lot to offer visitors who are there not for the touristy sightseeing, but just want a getaway and take a break from the hectic life.
I like that they always have new and big shopping malls each time I visit and for my personal bias, they have A LOT of matcha cafes as well! Recently I also noticed they are starting to have a lot of specialty coffee joints, and I tried out my first Orange Americano there as well. Other than chilling at cafes, they have plenty of massage places and the Japanese style onsens, where visitors can spend an afternoon to soak away the stresses, or just find inner peace and spend some time reflecting on life. As cliche as it sounds, it's these calm moments that we sometimes think of creative ideas or find solutions to problems that have been unresolved.
I could go on to talk about their hotels and food/cuisine as well, but at the risk of sounding like a sponsored post (it's not! haha), I really enjoy my getaways to Bangkok each time, exploring different areas, staying different hotels, and trying different restaurants, so this photo of the night sky in Bangkok encapsulates all these elements.
Alright, that's all I have! Thanks for reading! And let me know if there are any places overseas that make you feel like it's your "second home"!
Nice one bro
