Dan! Dan! I shouted.
He looked at me without smiling or laughing. "Dan, what is wrong? Do you know me? Dan..."
He stood still.
For it was my first time seeing my nephew since he was born.
Soon, the once silent boy became vivacious at the sight of his online favourite video, Cocomelon.
"Baby shark, do do do, do do... Baby shark, do do do..."
Cocomelon was something that he loved.
Grandma was with him all through the day, and he wouldn't trade a day with Grandma for anything else.
At Grandma's house, he was free and had access to varieties, as Grandma sells biscuits, sweets, and many beverages. Trust he wouldn't go without having his favourite — a Capri-Sun drink.
Soon, he took a ball, and I noticed that he loved it, so I joined him. "Goal!" We both screamed and shouted. He loved the way we played together and shouted, "Come and play! Oya!"
I looked at him and smiled.
Soon, his parents came and we chatted for a while. All of a sudden, he shouted, "Goal!" — insinuating that Manchester City had scored. We drifted toward a movie being displayed on the screen, which he was racking his head to understand.
His parents stood and signalled to Daniel that it was time to go home. Daniel gave a look that showed he hadn't heard his dad speak. After moving a certain distance, Daniel burst out crying as we watched from afar.
Daniel loves to stay around the house for quite some time; however, he couldn't stay because of his schooling activities.
I carried on with other chores and attended to those who wanted to buy things.
Soon it was time to leave, but I also remembered that it was fish market day. Immediately, I boarded a tricycle and headed to the fish market, where I got fish and many beautiful beverages.
And that was how I spent my weekend with my family.
