Deceit In Plain Sight

Have you ever met people who lie through their tongues? This set of individuals habitually lies about everything and anything, even when they are aware that you are aware of their deception. Even when they are caught red-handed, they still find ways to try to defend themselves, making justifiable reasons for their dishonesty.

The first question asked what makes you mad or angry; dishonest people usually get on my nerves; their actions get me angry. I don't like it when dishonest people always try to fabricate their actions.

Just last week I had a disappointing business transaction with someone I successfully did business with last year, and I enjoyed her transactions, so I decided to do more with her this year.

However, I noticed that the quantity of the goods I bought from her was significantly less than what I got later, even though the amount was on the high side this year because of the economic situation. I confronted her, but she kept lying and denying it, claiming she had no idea about what I was talking about. I had to tell her to return my remaining money since she had not gotten the remaining goods, and then I went to the market to ask other suppliers and was surprised at the discrepancy.

This act got me angry and disappointed at her; I really felt betrayed, especially because we had had a positive and smooth transaction previously. Her actions have made the anger I have for lies and dishonest people increase, and I have also learned to always verify facts even with people I have worked with before.
