Rest Isn't Laziness: My Weekend Without Scrolling.

This particular weekend happens to be one of the quietest and calmest I've had in a long while. Though I've been battling with network issues where I'm at the moment, which I'm still battling with till now. It is frustrating as I need to step out and take a walk each time I need to respond to messages, post, engage, and all.

But I feel it is also a blessing, as the network issue has also helped me rest a lot. I never knew I needed this much of a rest. After spending the whole week teaching, the network issues I'm having have made me become absent online, and that has made me rest a lot. I only come out to post and all, then go back inside to rest.

Thinking back now, the only thing I've been doing is teaching and studying. Even though my data is always on, it obviously has no use since the network is bad. And the few minutes I do spend outside to take a short walk each time I want to come online have helped me exercise my body. And for the first time in a long while, I wasn't thinking about chatting, meeting up with a certain level, going online to watch news, viewing some reels, and all. I was just here, eating, resting, watching movies, and enjoying my time alone.

Life can be so busy and all that we forget to take things easy a little bit. I feel this network issue has forced me to pause and see things the way they are. Taking time out to rest isn't laziness; it helps to keep the body and mind sound, refreshed, and ready to accomplish.

It is Sunday already, and I just hope that the network will be a lot more stable this week; I feel I've had enough time to rest. And I'm ready to keep going again. Like I said earlier, life can be so very busy; even still, it is important that we take time out at times and enjoy some beautiful moments offline.
