Weekend-engagement prompt 273. Breaking rules and not following order doesn't always end well with me.

Following rules has been my way of lifestyle.
I believe things will go as expected if I keep my part of the bargain, keeping to rules.

Personally, I think keeping rules and order as directed is the best for me not because I choose to do it but because it's a way of keeping me away from negative consequences.

I am known for keeping to rules right from when I was in college but the funny thing is that all those days I kept and maintained standard order. It seems to be going well with all those who choose to do otherwise.

Anyday I decide to break rules. Things don't just work out the way it does to others when it comes to breaking rules.I get punished for not doing it right.

I could remember a time, when I was still in college, my room prefect asked us junior students to wash the bathroom. It's a regular order that comes from time to time but I discovered each time we do it people that failed to join us will always go Scot-free with no punishment attached to it.

So on that fateful day I decided to join the bad gang and decided not to wash the bathroom. That day it became as if hell broke loose that day as all those who did not participate in washing the bathroom were being hunted like thieves.

Why does this keep happening whenever I decide to go the wrong way?

I got punished for not participating in the washing of the bathroom on that day, 20 strokes of cain on my buttocks.

I kept on with the rules and regulations until it happened again, it was in a season of Champions League, when students would jump over the fence and go outside the school to watch football.
All other previous days were different until the day I decided to join them.

It was a match between Barcelona and Arsenal as usual. We all went out successfully and watched the football match at a football viewing hall outside the school. After the match we all sneaked into the school back to our hostel.

I thought that was all until we got to the assembly ground the next day just to discover that someone had spied on us and to my greatest surprise our names were called out and the punishments were severe as we had to water the school flower twice for one week which was not an easy task. You will have to fetch at least 7 buckets of water.

Ever since then I made up my mind to always do the right thing, not minding if others are doing it or not.

Breaking rules and order doesn't always go well with me so I will rather follow orders than do otherwise.

I sat at my friend's shop as I watch his sales reps play. Since I am less occupied during weekends.
I smile as I got the inspiration about the old good days.

Thi is in response to the weekend experience. Prompt 273
