Weekend engagement Wk227- A sister I never had.

Hello people, welcome to my blog.

As a Muslim, I do not believe in the worship of human as religious leaders but I strongly believe in doing what is right and following the deed of the prophet. Unlike some people, I can pass for someone without a religious leader, my business at the masjid is to pray, do supplications, sadaq and move on.

Someone I love who is not a parent, child or religious leader to me is my beautiful friend who turned to a sister I never had. I met Saheedat during my tertiary institution years, we served together as executives of Osun State Students on campus.

Our friendship started from just simple greetings each time we met on campus till when our first year's result was released during second year's first semester and I had a carry over in French language which happens to be a her major course of study. I approached her for coaching and she taught me with zeal and respect despite me not being serious.

Hot pepper as she is being called by every one is a small but might woman who will stop at nothing to make sure I succeed and will always correct me with great love. We have been together for more than fifteen years now, we have been through the good, the bad and the urgly together. One thing I can point to that has made out friendship to stand the test of time is self respect.

I understand her and respect her a lot , I will not do things to intentional hurt her and when I do hurt her, I am quick to apologize. If it's from her end, she does the same thing. We do almost everything together that people who see us from far calls us twins. Even our colleagues at work calls us twins.

Saheedat compliment me a lot, while I am the loud type she is the cool one. While I am the one who gets angry more, she takes her time to process and explain things and apologize when necessary and while I can talk for Africa she make a good listener. Over the years, we have grown to understand ourselves.

We have grown so strong that i can boldly make some decisions for her in her absence without making a mistake and she too in my absence. Another thing I like with her is that she is religious and open minded like I am. She is indeed a sister I never had.

Thanks for taking your time to read through
