I don't understand people who murder other people unjustly. Like how can a human being just wake up one morning and decide to become a murderer or are some people just born that way?

Every time I decide to watch the news, it's always headlines about terrorist attacks, ritual killings, homicide, manslaughter… basically always bad news. Most of these people have no profound reason for doing such things, it seems like they derive some sort of joy in putting an end to the lives of innocent people who have aspiring dreams and potentials.

The other day, I was baffled by the news of an American teenager who got access into a school premise and shot at students, these people were little kids for God sake. Had he no conscience? Even teachers were not spared and we're talking about mothers and fathers with families that look up to them.

In my home country, it's nothing new. On a daily basis, we hear of murder cases, terrorism and the likes of it. People die everyday to the hands of these people and it's disheartening. You're outside, you get killed… you're in your home, you still get killed. I really don't get it.

That's how terrifying the whole thing is. A few months ago, it was a church massacra… Can you imagine that? I don't even want to talk about it because just mentioning it, brings chills down my spine.

Why can't everyone just be good and peaceful? Why the inhumanity? Why take a life you didn't create?

And honestly, I can probably understand every other thing but no matter the reason or explanation given, I would never be able to understand the phenomenon behind people who murder fellow humans in cold blood.

I may not personally know anyone who was a victim of murder and I don't pray for it, but for some reason, I'm pained! I deeply feel for the families and friends of the victims. Sometimes, I just wish I could know what goes on in the minds of serial killers and perhaps change their mentality for good. But then again, I guess it's just life and like they say, there will always be good and evil. It's like an irrevocable coexistence.

Anyway, that's that… I don't want to sound melancholy and ruin the mood any further. It's the weekend after all 🤩, remember to stay jiggy 🤪, positive 😌 and live it to the fullest! 🤗🌹🌈
